DAY 1:
DEPART THE U.S.A. IN TRANSIT
Departure from your home city area for the flight to Atlanta.
The excitement of your safari adventure begins the moment you
arrive at the South African Airlines counter and then boarding
your overnight flight to Cape Town, South
Africa.
Meals: En route.
DAY 2:
PENINSULA HOTEL
CAPE TOWN SOUTH AFRICA
You will be met and transferred to the Peninsula
Hotel located in the Sea Point area of Cape Town. It's mid-afternoon
and for those who feel rested, after check-in at the hotel the
activities will begin with a visit to the famous Water Front area.

DAY 3:
PENINSULA HOTEL
CAPE TOWN SOUTH AFRICA
This morning you will enjoy a tour through
the beautiful city of Cape Town, nestled at the foot of Table
Mountain; then, weather permitting, ascent the mountain via Cableway
and enjoy the breathtaking views of the city and surrounding suburbs
from the top of the mountain. From the Table Mountain area your
drive will follow the Atlantic coastline past the mountain range
known as the "Twelve Apostles" and across the picturesque
Chapman's Peak. Continue to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve,
where the Atlantic and Indiana Oceans meet at Cape Point. The
reserve contains wetlands and bush areas and supports such wildlife
as eland, springbok, zebra and baboon. This drive is one of the
most spectacular scenic drives in all of Africa. The drive continues
up the East Coast for more beautiful coastline scenery before
returning to Cape Town.

DAY 4:
AIRPORT SUN INTERCONTINENTAL HOTEL
JOHANNESBURG - SOUTH AFRICA
While in the Cape region of South Africa it
is almost a must for one to visit the wine region of Constantia,
South Africa's oldest city. Along the way you will make a brief
visit to the famous Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. From here
you will visit the oldest wine estate in the country, Groot Constantia.
Later this afternoon you will board South African Airlines for
the flight to Johannesburg.

DAY 5:
XIGERA CAMP
OKAVANGO DELTA - BOTSWANA
This morning you will board Air Botswana for
the two hour flight to Maun. You are met and transferred by light
aircraft to Xigera Camp. It is a 30 minute flight to Xigera Camp
and at the low flying altitude, you will be able to see plenty
of wildlife and have a good overview of this area of the Delta.
Xigera is the perfect land and water activity camp. In fact, it
is one of the only Okavango camps which offer game drives, foot
safaris, mokoros and boating trips. The game drives regularly
see lion, elephant, buffalo, leechwe and leopard. Boating takes
one further afield and into excellent fishing waters, and the
walks offer the opportunity to get close to wild Africa.

DAY 6:
XIGERA CAMP
OKAVANGO DELTA - BOTSWANA
This morning you will have the opportunity
to ride in the Mokoro, poled along by the expert guide. Later
upon reaching one of the nearby islands you will explore the area
and have a picnic lunch before returning to camp. An afternoon
boat ride will acquaint you with the vast waterways of the Okavango.
Besides all the big game, Xigera has excellent birding. Also,
the rare Sitatunga antelope are at their highest density in the
Xigera region.

DAY 7:
CHITABE CAMP
OKAVANGO DELTA - BOTSWANA
A short charter flight this morning will take
you to Chitabe Camp. Here you will be able to take part in game
walks and game drives, both during the day and the evening. Elephant,
buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetah and wild dog are among the major
game attractions of the area. A secluded hide in front of the
camp offers guests a relaxing spot to view the wildlife at their
leisure.

DAY 8:
CHITABE CAMP
OKAVANGO DELTA - BOTSWANA
Another day of morning and evening game drives.
It is in this area of the Delta that the wild dogs are generally
found.

DAY 9:
KINGS POOL CAMP
LINYANTI REGION - BOTSWANA
This morning you will have about a 45 minute
flight over to the Linyanti region. This camp is in the north
of Botswana, bordering the western boundary of Chobe. Another
outstanding wildlife region although noted for its very large
elephant population. Day and night game drives are provided as
well as cruising the Linyanti River via a double-decker boat.

DAY 10:
KINGS POOL CAMP
LINYANTI REGION - BOTSWANA
Another day of game drives and being in awe
of the concentration of wildlife.
Meals: B,L,D.
DAY 11:
CHOBE GAME LODGE
A short flight this morning takes you to Kasane
where you will be met and transferred to the Chobe Game Lodge
which is located adjacent to the Chobe river and across from the
Caprivi Strip of Namibia. This is elephant country at its finest.
Besides the game drives each day there is also motor boating among
the hippo. Chobe is also a spectacular bird area.

DAY 12:
CHOBE GAME LODGE
Another day in the spectacular bush region
of Chobe. Morning and afternoon game drives with boating in between
is available.

DAY 13:
ROYAL LIVINGSTONE HOTEL
ZAMBIA
After breakfast this morning you will be transported
via private vehicle from chobe Game Lodge to the Royal Livingstone
Hotel in Livingstone, Zambia. This is about an 1 ½ hour
drive. Victoria Falls is the largest and one of the most beautiful
waterfalls in the world. Here, the mighty currents of the Zambezi
River on the border between Zambia and
Zimbabwe is more than 300 feet in
depth. The clouds of spray will often rise over 1,000 feet, as
the Falls are described as "Mosi-oa_Tunya", the smoke
that thunders. The Falls are a short 15 minute walk from the Hotel.

DAY 14:
ROYAL LIVINGSTONE HOTEL
ZAMBIA
For those who desire to visit Zimbabwe this
morning you can walk across the border to view the Falls from
this side. An afternoon visit into the city of Livingstone you
can visit the local museum which highlights the historical life
of David Livingstone.

DAY 15:
IN TRANSIT
You will have time to visit the Falls again
this morning as your flight schedule is as follows: Depart Livingstone
via South African Airlines and arrive in Johannesburg an hour
later. Your connecting flight to Atlanta departs in the early
evening arriving the Atlanta the following morning.

DAY 16:
ARRIVAL HOME
You arrive in Atlanta early morning. Your
connecting flight to your home city will depart mid-morning and
arrive in your home city later this afternoon.
