DAY 1:
DEPART THE U.S.A. IN TRANSIT

Departure from your home city area for the flight to New York and/or Atlanta. The excitement of your safari adventure begins the moment you arrive at the South African Airlines counter for check-in, and board your flight for the overnight ride to Johannesburg, South Africa. Meals: aloft.

DAY 2:
AIRPORT SUN INTERCONTINENTAL HOTEL

You arrive this morning at the Johannesburg International Airport. You will be met and transferred to your airport hotel for an overnight. This evening you will be treated to a "Welcome to Africa" dinner. Overnight at the Sun Intercontinental Hotel located outside the arrival terminal.

DAY 3:
SHERATON HOTEL
KAMPALA, UGANDA

Your South African Airlines flight departs this morning for the four hour flight to Entebbe, Uganda. Upon arrival and after clearing customs you will be met and transferred to Kampala which is about an hour drive. Overnight will be at the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Kampala.

DAY 4:
BUHOMA HOMESTEAD
BWINDI IMPRENTABLE FOREST

Early morning departure for the long drive to the Bwindi Imprentable Forest. Stops will be made along the way; when crossing the Equator, and later a lunch stop. Arrival at the Buhoma Homestead, located high in the Forest, will be in the late afternoon. At this remote location you will be entertained only by the noise of the Forest.

DAY 5:
BUHOMA HOMESTEAD
BWINDI IMPRENTABLE FOREST

Early this morning you will begin the gorilla trek. Most treks will take several hours and you should return by lunch time.

DAY 6:

BWINDI IMPRENTABLE FOREST

Today's activity will be the Forest bird walk.

DAY 7:
SHERATON HOTEL
KAMPALA, UGANDA

After breakfast you will return to Kampala arriving there at sunset.

DAY 8:
IN TRANSIT

Your morning will be at leisure to explore some of the shops in the downtown area of Kampala. Your flight departs Entebbe in the mid-afternoon for Johannesburg. Upon arrival you will have an immediate connecting flight to New York and/or Atlanta.

DAY 9:
ARRIVAL HOME

Arrival early morning in new York and/or Atlanta. You will have a mid-morning connecting flight to your home city arriving there in the afternoon.
